Sports

We firmly believe that the development of physical and sports abilities is essential to shape personality and to acquire universal values.

Therefore, our sports project comprises the development of motor skills as well as the ability to build playing abilities while enhancing social interaction through games among the youngest and through sports among the eldest. As a result,
we encourage group work and healthy, fair competition in hopes of improving physical competence which will contribute to the overall development of our students in an environment of respect and support.

Our premises/tournaments and competitions

Our three campuses offer our students several football and hockey pitches as well as athletics facilities which allow them to enjoy the practice of sports. Moreover, International Schools take part in national and international competitions.
Acobi (Bilingual Schools Association): We take part in cross country, athletics, hockey and football contests.
Coni (Italian National Olimpic Committee): A contest for 14-year-old students is carried out every year in order to select the best in each discipline to represent Argentina in Italy. Moreover, our students also take part in “Juegos de la Juventud” (Youth Games) throughout a whole weekend in October.
International cups: Sports competitions in which our three schools take part once a year in every level.
Adn (Northern Sports Association): Cross, athletics and football tournaments.
Pep (Pilar Educational Association): This association offers athletics competitions which take place every year as well as “Copa Northern” (Northern Cup) which is a hockey and football tournament for secondary school.
Copa della Repubblica (Republic Cup): Hockey and football competitions for Italian schools.
Inter School Events Universidad del Salvador: Hockey and football competitions in which over 5o schools participate every year.

In order to supplement the work in this area and foster the participation of the whole school community, we organize and share a Family Day and a Sports Day. Moreover, our students between 3rd grade and 5th/6th year are encouraged to join additional activities every Saturday if they are willing to increase their sports skills.
